209 Championship Points

 All drivers must possess a current 209 Speedway Karters membership to be eligible to accumulate Championship Points and to receive Year End Awards.   

 Substitute drivers shall not be allowed for drivers racing for Championship Points and Year End Awards. Championship Points will follow the driver not the kart.    

There is 1 throwaway race for the 2024 season. At the end of the scheduled race series the points for a missed race will be dropped. If no scheduled race was missed the race with the lowest points will be dropped. Cancelled scheduled races cannot be dropped. A DQ can not be dropped. 

 In the case of a points tie, the decision for the winner is based on the most 1st place finishes, and then the most 2nd place finishes, and then the most 3rd place finishes, etc.
